Kaji `Injury Scares` Japan
Group F in the groups stage of the upcoming World Cup is not considered to be a `death house` like Group C is, but it might be titled as the `injury scare house`. After hearing the news of Brazilian player Edmlison being ruled out of the tournament, we now hear about another Group F injury situation, but one that ended in a positive note.
Akira Kaji, the Japanese defender, gave his team a real injury scare after suffering an injury during a warm-up match against World Cup hosts Germany. Kaji had to be taken off the field in a stretcher after suffering a bruised right foot. But luckily enough, he could play in the upcoming World Cup that starts at the end of the week.
Japan draw a 2-2 against Germany and looks in good shape overall. The Asian team will face world champions Brazil during their Group F struggles to reach the next stage of World Cup 2006.
