Juventus In Trouble After Scandal Repercussions

Following the match-fixing allegations and the scandal that swept the Italian soccer world, Juventus, Lazio and Fiorentina found themselves demoted to Serie B. The fact that world-class teams are playing for the second league in Italy will surly have consequences. Juventus alone had eight players that took part in World Cup 2006, and there little to no chance that they will stay in Juventus and play in Serie B.

Puente was given a 30-point penalty that will mean they will have to play at least two seasons in the second tier and for the international players that will simply not do.
The players will likely be looking for new clubs and we will see many changes in the Italian leagues very soon.

Although most young players will leave Juventus, Alessandro Del Piero is expected to stay. The 31-year-old player will have a hard time finding a `big name` team that will pay him a large fee. Del Piero is considered an idol for Juventus fans and many of them are hoping that he will decide to stay with the team.
