Patrick to Continue with IndyCar

Danica Patrick has NASCAR rumors swirling all around her and has decided to put an end to the circulation. Patrick said on Saturday night that she doesn?t have any other plans rather than staying on IndyCar series and chase her goal of winning the Indianapolis 500. "I really feel that if you want to win Indy, you need to be in IndyCar," she told ESPN in an interview aired before the start of the Firestone Indy 200.

"Having been there and having done so well, I know what that single race can do for you in your whole life. Since one of my goals is to win that race, I don`t believe I can be anywhere else but IndyCar." Patrick said. Although her parents were seen at a Nextel Cup race last weekend, Patrick doesn?t plan to leave IndyCar before winning the Indianapolis 500.

Patrick won the nation`s attention after finishing at the forth place in the Indianapolis 500 in 2005 making the highest win for a woman ever. Patrick is aiming high and hoping to become the first woman to win one of the most valued races in the world of motor sports, the Indianapolis 500.
