Man United Will Not Give Up Ronaldo Easily
Cristiano Ronaldo could very well stay in Manchester United following a statement by the team saying that Ronaldo is not for sale. The Portuguese player had a rough incident with Manchester United`s star, Wayne Rooney, during Portugal`s match against England, and many fans believed that Ronaldo would not play for Man United any more.
Ronaldo himself has been quoted twice saying that he will move to Spain, but recent announcement by Manchester United might keep Ronaldo in Old Trafford. "Manchester United has noticed the increasing media speculation over the future of Cristiano Ronaldo," said a statement released by the Red Devils. "Cristiano recently signed a new contract until 2010 and the club fully expects him to honor that contract."
"Cristiano is one of the brightest young stars in world football, as demonstrated by his performances at the World Cup and Manchester United is not in the business of selling their best young players." Ronaldo said that `There are possibilities for me to continue at Manchester United but there are other possibilities as well,` he said.
