Federer Takes Fourth Consecutive Wimbledon Title

Roger Federer is piling out milestones. The 24-year-old Swiss player won his forth Wimbledon championship and with eight Grand Slams and 39 tournaments titles, he can very well become the world greatest tennis player ever. "I am maybe heading down that road," Federer said after beating his nemesis Rafael Nadal in the Wimbledon men`s final.

"By winning today and making it four in a row, it`s a very elite club," Federer said. "There`s more to come maybe. I have the opportunity. I don`t really feel like I`m playing for the records," Federer said. "I play this game because I love it."

Federer`s next goal is to equal Bjorn Borg`s record of five straight Wimbledon titles. "I`m very well aware of the records," Federer said. "This is maybe a little extra motivation. Maybe if in four years` time I am so close to so many records again, that is what is going to keep me going. However, at the moment, it is not. When you start passing guys who are legends, this is when it hits you."
