Eriksson Considers His Options

The retiring England coach, Sven-Goran Eriksson, is already getting many new proposals, and news comes of him saying `No` to one of the major Champions League clubs. Eriksson`s agent, Athole Still, said that Eriksson already rejected one very respectable offer. "It was not in this country. I`m afraid I cannot say (which club) because it would be embarrassing to the club concerned." Still told BBC Radio 5.

"I just have to say this: I had a very pleasant conversation with an agency, a company representing Jamaica, and I can tell you that in the course of that conversation, the person concerned told me that Jamaica, the government there, had made a substantial amount of money available," still answered when asked about Jamaica`s proposal to Eriksson.

Asked if Eriksson would only consider one of the top Premiership clubs, Still replied: `I haven`t actually asked him that. Eriksson is aiming high, but it is hard to tell what the future of the Swedish coach will be. England`s World Cup campaign is regarded as a failure for him, and still says that Eriksson knows that.
