Soccer Clubs Move on Players before Season Open
With World Cup behind us, soccer clubs from all the major leagues are starting to move on players before the start of the upcoming season. World Cup is the best stage for soccer players to demonstrate their skills and ability, and club managements were paying a very close attention to the green field in Germany during the last month.
Real Madrid has announced that at least six or seven new players will be joining the ranks of the established soccer club ahead of next season. The newly elected club president made the news public this week. "The club has got enough money to sign all the players we need," Calderon, told Spanish state television on Sunday night. "We will have signed six or seven new players before August 3."
"There was nothing to stop me talking to whoever I wanted before I was president, but now I represent the institution and have to abide by the rules. Cesc (Fabregas) agreed that he would sign a five-year deal with the club, but we have not started talks with Arsenal yet. Kaka wanted to come three months ago, but now we have to talk to AC Milan .... We will try and pay less than 50 million euros ($64.02 million) for him." These are only parts of the names that were mentioned and as time goes by, we will find out how many players move to Madrid.
