Uncertainty in Minnesota

No matter how hard they have tried, the Wolves are not good enough to win the title and they are barely good enough to make it into the playoffs. KG is once pretty much again on his own. What?s next for Minnesota? It?s obvious that the Wolves will never willingly trade KG. Not unless he makes a fuss about it and demand a trade.

The Wolves are trying to position themselves to be under the luxury tax threshold this year, and under it enough next year to add a key player, its not out of the question the Timberwolves make a deal to change some pieces, but what?s more likely is the deals that get considered don?t have long term money attached.

You can close the door on the rumors that have the Timberwolves taking on long term money, a source close to the Wolves says they will not add any additional salary to the books, and any trades on the table, must match dollar for dollar or create future savings for the Wolves. Also, scratch Steve Francis off the list, his contract is the deal breaker, not his game.
