Stojakovic Moving Foregone Conclusion

If the Artest- Stojakovic trade doest go through, that the Kings will find themselves in quite a jam. You see, now they have to trade Stojakovic by the trade deadline. By trading him on paper to the Pacers and the manner in which they did closes the door on him resigning with the team at the end of the season.

Both the Kings and Pacers front offices look like they didn`t do their homework completely and were caught off guard. Ron Artest looks like an amazingly selfish individual. Peja is sitting in a hotel room in Philly with his head probably spinning, and the Kings are trying to play a ball game (and losing) against Philly amidst all this mess.

Adding Artest should create some excitement in a city that has had little basketball excitement lately. Artest has been known as a challenge, but a challenge is just another word for opportunity, maybe this will be the opportunity that both the Kings and Artest need.

From the Pacers point of view adding Peja will also be an uncertainty. Not known for his defense or his playmaking ability Peja will be inserted into a lineup that doesn?t look like it will suit his style. However, if he starts making his shots again the Pacers will find a way to get him the ball.
