Brother Hedo Happy in Orlando
The size of a power forward with the game and speed of a small forward, Hedo Turkoglu never lived up his potential. It seems that he is settling way to much for the 3-point shot, instead of trying to create with the ball or take it to the rim. Turkoglu was particularly happy to have started his NBA career with the Kings. They were a rising team in the West and had international star power in Peja Stojakovic and Vlade Divac speaking the same language.
Hedo speaks fluent Serbian and helping him adjust to the life in the NBA. Five years and two teams later, Hedo observes his old team from a distance. Vlade Divac is gone and Peja Stojakovic is increasingly rumored to be preparing for the same. Turkoglu took one of Dirk`s most potent weapons, the three pointer, and made it more a part of his own game this season.
His improved percentage from the arc, just a hair better then Dirks is this year, works well for the small forward position he has played most of the season. He already attempted about a hundred 3-pointers this season and is on pace for a career high in that category. Coach Brian Hill does not seem to mind.
