All Hope is Not Lost for Warriors

On Friday, the Warriors fell below .500 for the first time this season. You have to admit that it?s has been fun while it lasted. Come on, nobody really expected the Warriors to finish the season with a winning record or make it to the playoffs for the same matter. If Golden State is going to return to their winning ways, they are going to do it with defense. Too often in the last few weeks have the Warriors started games with no defensive intensity, allowing the opposition to run up early leads that the G-Men can never recover from.

The team may not be blessed with a lot of good individual defenders, but teams who play together and play with intensity can overcome their individual deficiencies and become a good defensive team. All hope is not yet lost, not even close. Many of the other teams in the Western Conference are floundering right now as well.

If the Dubs can right their ship in a timely fashion, a play-off spot is theirs for the taking. The decision is up to the team. They stand at a fork in the road that is their season. Davis, Fisher and Montgomery can step up and fill the roles that they were brought in for, or the team can fall back on their true experiences and fold.
