Mullin Remains Quiet

Golden State is a team that can make a lot of noise come Thursday. They have a lot of young assets that GM?s would love to get their hands on. However, none of the trade rumors circulating this past week has included any of the names appearing on the Warriors? roster.

Chris Mullin has seen fit to withdraw the team from just about every single trade discussion out there, despite being two games out of the play-offs and having suffered a recent rash of injuries. The front office for the Warriors recently let a $5 million trade exception expire, and with it a golden opportunity to upgrade the roster without giving anybody up. For a team that is filled with so many young prospects that management would hate to part with, that would seem like an ideal scenario.

Chris Mullin will probably lob Isiah Thomas a phone call just to make sure he doesn?t want to trade Channing Frye for Adonal Foyle (because you never know what genius move Isiah is planning next), otherwise, the Warriors? long distance bill should be pretty low this month.
