Woods Does Not Stop for Nothing
Tiger Woods continues his wrecking journey through the world of international golf and captures his 12th major title. Woods gave a brilliant performance on Sunday leaving his opponent overwhelmed. Woods finished with a four-under 68 for a five-shot victory and now Jack Nicklaus with his 18 titles is Woods` only hurdle on his way to be the all time greatest.
"It wasn`t the same as Hoylake, maybe just because I was in contention to win a major after my dad passed. It was just a totally different feeling," said Woods. The amazing golfer had a rough period after his father passed away, and he was under a lot of pressure to win another major in his father`s honor.
Once that mission was accomplished, Woods was relaxed and confidant again ? and Sunday was the result of Woods` fitness. "He`s just too good," said Shaun Micheel, who closed with a 69 and won the battle for second place. "Unless you`re at the top of your game, you just can`t play with him."
