Steinbach Joins Cincinnati`s list of Arrested Sports Players
Sports players breaking the law are not a new phenomena. There are many stories of famous players behaving in a violent way, or driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Eric Steinbach, guard for the Bengals, joined the long list of arrested sports players this week and become the fifth Cincinnati player in three months to break the law.
Steinbach was apprehended and charged for boating under the influence. A Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources officer arrested Steinbach for violating an idle-only zone. Steinbach was tested and field a series of sobriety testes, and now faces a boating under the influence charge.
Steinbach is the not the only sports player that Cincinnati police had to deal with in the past few months. Matthias Askew was shot by a stun gun and charged with resisting arrest in an incident not long ago, Frostee Rucker was arrested for spousal battery and A.J. Nicholson for burglary.
