Hernan Crespo Goes Back to Inter Milan
Hernan Crespo, one of Argentina`s best strikers, is moving back to Inter Milan as the team signed a loan deal with Chelsea, the current owner of Crespo. The Argentinean striker played for Inter Milan during the 2002-3 season before joining Chelsea for ?16.8 million. Crespo`s new contract will be valid for two-years as announced on the teams` web sites.
"For me it is a matter of pride to be back at Inter," Crespo said during an official presentation taking place in Inter Milan` headquarters. "I had left here crying and now I am back smiling. I thank Chelsea, the chairman and the coach, because they understood my needs and they were accommodating," he said.
This deal did not involve any financial details. Although Crespo will play for Inter Milan until the very end of his Chelsea contract, the English club will have the option to have him back once the deal is over. Crespo played 73 games for Chelsea and scored 25 goals.
