Argentina to Face Paraguay Weak

Argentina will face Paraguay this Saturday with one of its top players absent. Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo is suffering form an injury and therefore will not be able to participate in the coming national match. Crespo did not travel to Buenos Aires to meet up with his teammates. Crespo will not be the only lead player missing in Saturday`s match. . Atletico Madrid forward Luciano Galletti and Corinthians midfielder Javier Mascherano will also miss the contest due to injuries.

River Plate striker Ernesto Farias was the only replacement named by Argentina coach Jose Pekerman. Argentina leads South America`s qualifying group and has already secured a spot in the competition next year. Paraguay is in a battle for one of the coveted four spots in the group.
