New Fantasy Hockey Services

The fantasy hockey pool manager, Hockey Draft, has issued two new services this week, offering much more fantasy hockey options. The first service is a box selection pool, similar to the ones seen in magazines and newspapers. Entries can be submitted online at any time prior to the deadline specified, and this type of pool does not require getting together as most drafts require.

The second format released by Hockey Draft, is an NHL team ranking pool, which also does not require your friends or staff to get together in person. In this type of pool, NHL teams are ranked instead of players. Each participant ranks each of the NHL teams from 1 to 16, where 1 is the worst and 16is the best. Then for each win an NHL team gets, each participant gets the number of points they`ve assigned to that team. For example, if you rank Ottawa 16, then you would get 16 points whenever they win a game. If you ranked Anaheim 1 (the worst) then you believe they will get the least number of wins and you would get 1 point per win.

Fantasy sports is not the only popular fantasy-sporting field, and fantasy hockey is gaining popularity. The new offering from Hockey Draft will attract new participants, and fantasy hockey`s popularity will increase. People find the idea of fantasy sporting to be fun and exciting, and it is important for the sports community to have reliable and established fantasy sports providers.
