New Hydration Pack Reservoir Dryer

Windpipe LLC founding member, Bob Winters, states that whenever he asks a cyclist what their biggest problem is with using a hydration pack, they most often respond, drying the bladder.

The patent pending WindpipeTM dryer uses forced air to dry hydration pack fluid reservoirs quickly and thoroughly, thereby inhibiting discoloration and growth of bacteria. The dryer works with most brands of hydration packs and offers a solution where traditional spreader/hanger type dryers have fallen short.

A small fan quietly discharges more than 8 cubic feet per minute of air to the bottom of a fluid reservoir. The air flows around the inside of the reservoir and exits both the fill hole and the drink tube, drying everything in its path. The fan uses brushless motor technology and ball bearings for long life. Low power consumption means the dryer can be powered by wall outlet, car cigarette lighter, or battery pack.
