Duncan Speaks Out Against Dress Code

The new dress code imposed by Commissioner David Stern has received a lot of criticism in recent weeks from both players and owners, some even went as far as calling it racist. However, the bulk of the opposition came from players with less than a squeaky clean track record, to say the least.

All of this has changed when one of the league?s biggest stars, Tim Duncan himself, publicly criticized the new dress code, calling it ?moronic?. When Stephen Jackson, a player who got suspended for assaulting a fan last year, speaks out against the new dress code it carries less weight.

When a player of Duncan?s stature speaks out it gives the opposition more credibility. Duncan is furious of the fact that he will be forced to tuck in his shirt. If the league remains adamant about enforcing the new dress code, Duncan has went as far as saying that he?ll remain in the locker room in case he?s not playing.
