New Dress Code for NBA Players

NBA commissioner has initiated a new off court dress code for the players. Upon arriving and leaving stadiums, players will be required not to wear sleeveless shirts this season in addition to not wearing certain types of jewelry.

Some players like Stephen Jackson of the Indiana Pacers view this new dress code as racist. According to Jackson the new code is designed mainly for African American players, since they are the ones who are mainly wearing them.

In a recent practice game Tim Duncan sat on the bench wearing an untucked shirt and a pair of jeans. This type of attire is in violation of the new dress code which could get him fined by the league.
