Cheeks Faces Tough Decision

The biggest acquisition the Sixers have made this off-season was signing Maurice Cheeks as the head coach of the team. Cheeks who is a former Sixer-great himself will have to make a tough decision early on, which concerns Allen Iverson?s position on the Court.

Last season Jim O?Brien moved Iverson to the point guard position, something that was frustrating at times to his other teammates who didn?t get to touch the ball for long stretches.

The trouble with moving Iverson back to his natural spot at the two is the fact that the Sixers don?t have anyone capable to start at the point in place of Iverson. Philly lost Willie Green earlier in the summer, which leaves the Sixers with John Salmons and Kevin Ollie who just don?t cut it.
