Heat is on in Miami

In a recent preseason game the Miami Heat defeated the defending world champions San Antonio Spurs. Could this be a preview to this years? finals? It?s too early to tell. With all the changes the Heat have made over the summer, head coach Stan Van Gundy is expected to win.

Anything other than a championship would be conceded a let down for a team which has completely revamped its roster adding big names such as Gary Payton, James Posey, Antoine Walker and Jason Williams.

With so many new players, will the team be able to gel in time for the playoffs? You can rest assure that Riley will be monitoring the situation close by and will be ready to step in and replace his long time friend as head coach if necessary.
