Roethlisberger Injures Knee

Ben Roethlisberger had to be helped off the field after suffering a knee injury during last night?s game against San Diego. Fortunately for Pittsburg, the game was over shortly after Roethlisberger got heart. The extent of the second-year quarterback is not known as of yet.

Roethlisberger was sacrificing his body all throughout last night?s games, running with the ball and diving for first downs. Roethlisberger is the anchor of the Steelers offense, which will have to run the ball even more so in the event he won?t be able to play next week.

Charlie Batch who hardly played at all during the past three years entered the game in place of the injured Roethlisberger. Next week, the Steelers will be facing a tough Jacksonville Jaguars team who managed to beat the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals.
