The Big Ticket is Unhappy Again

Following his TV interview last week in which Garnett criticized the Wolves organizations, trade rumors surrounding the big ticket started circulating once again. The same as before the possible destinations for Garnett remain Dallas, New Jersey, Chicago and Detroit. Wolves owner Glen Taylor said publicly that he has no intention of trading Garnett.

Yesterday we reported that Minnesota is negotiating the trade of Carlos Boozer with the Jazz. Will adding Boozer make Garnett happier in the Twin City? Probably not. The Wolves have too many holes that need filling and adding Boozer in itself will not suffice. "Kevin gets frustrated...But in the long run, he says, `No, I anticipate being here. We?re going to work things out through the long run...The fans hear rumors and get nervous, and even Kevin gets nervous. But no one has to worry", says Glen.

There are some who think that Kevin Garnett could demand a trade and, if he is denied, could make life miserable for the Wolves. This is ridiculous. Anyone who has ever watched KG play knows that once he steps onto the floor of the Target Center, his competitive fire takes over. Plus, do you really think that KG could cause a stir ?behind the scenes? like, say, Terrell Owens? KG is not that kind of guy.
