Boozer Retunes within a Week

Carlos Boozer is seemingly on his way out of Utah. Boozer who is expected to be activated within the coming week has become somewhat expandable given Mehmet Okur?s recent play. Okur is more suited to play the power forward position than the center, which is a big part of the reason he struggled last season when he had to play at the same time with Boozer. Even though he was injured for the most part of the season, Boozer posted some pretty nice numbers.

If the Jazz will in fact trade Boozer, they won?t be able to get equal value back. With Mehmet Okur continuing to lead the Jazz in scoring and rebounding, minutes for Boozer seem scarce. It?s believed the Jazz will roll Boozer out to prove he?s healthy, but he?s not going to get the kind of minutes thrown at him last year.

Its rumored that Boozer will be ready to go in a few days, which will give the Jazz ample time to showcase that he is indeed health before the trade deadline in February. The Jazz have a hole at shooting guard that they will try to address, in the event they are able to move Boozer. A team like LA would be extremely interested to acquire Boozer?s services.
