England versus Australia in cricket test

Steve Harmison produced some inspired pace bowling to return 5-43 as Australia were skittled for 190 on day one of the first Ashes Test at Lord`s. And England`s opening batsmen safely negotiated a six-over examination from Glenn McGrath and Brett Lee to reach 10-0 at tea in reply.

Harmison removed Ricky Ponting for nine and cleaned up the tail after Andrew Flintoff and Simon Jones also shone. Justin Langer`s 40 was the best effort by an Australia batsman. The tone of the day was set with the second ball of the series. Harmison hit Langer on his elbow and the Australian opener had to take some time out to recover.
