Bosh on Trading Block?

Chris Bosh is the latest name being mentioned in a possible exchange with Indiana for Ron Artest. Bosh is averaging 22 points and 9 per game this season. Why would the Raptors even consider trading him? Bosh is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, and you know the GM?s will be lining up to acquire his services.

Toronto fears that it won?t be able to match a max type offer, which is why they might consider moving him prior to the trading deadline. The latest rumor is that the reason Ron detracted his trade request was that he heard he was almost dealt to the Raptors. Toronto has the kind of young pieces Walsh wants, (Joey Graham, Charlie Villanueva), but will Toronto part with them so soon.

It seems doubtful, but could happen. It is a stretch, but perhaps the Raptors would deal Chris Bosh for Artest and another player or pick in fear of him bolting Toronto like Vince did after his contract is up.
