Second Brazilian Stadium Signs Deal

The second largest sports stadium in Brazil, Est?dio Ol?mpico Monumental, has recently become the second stadium in the country to sign an access control contract with DexSecurity Solutions. DexSecurity is a South African company that provides the turnstiles as well as the control and management systems. In addition, DexSecurity also signed a SafeVenue contract with the Brazilian Sports Club Internacional.

The new stadium is the home ground of the well-known soccer club Gr?mio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense and can accommodate 98 000 spectators. The South African technology for the SafeVenue Stadium Management Solution is provided by DexBrasil and DexSecurity Solutions, a South African company which forms part of the Dex Group of companies.

The turnstile installations at the two stadiums in Brazil are more than half of all the entry gates combined that Dex provided for the Cricket World Cup in South Africa in 2002?, says Johann M?ller, Chairman of the Dex Group of Companies.
