Artest to Denver?

You can bet that Artest?s trade demands have sparked numerous phone calls from GM?s all over the league who are trying to gauge Indiana?s interest is making a swap. Artest mentioned that he would like to move to a team where the offense is not as restrictive as in Indiana. Artest?s rare combination of intensity, skills, and passion make him an elite player in the NBA and one worth taking the gamble on.

Who could be the potential suitors for Artest? It is safe to assume that every general manager in the league would like to put his hands on Artest. The chances that the Pacers will actually consider moving him are actually pretty good. The guy has become too much of a distraction to the team. Denver is one of the names that keep pooping out recently as one of the teams who are willing to make a substantial offer to the Pacers.

The Nuggets could possibly swing a trade for Ron Artest which includes Kenyon Martin and Earl Watson. The trade could possibly include Voshon Lenard as part of a larger package. In return, the Nuggets would take Artest and Austin Croshere?s albatross of a salary. The money on this four person trade matches up rather nicely and if Lenard were thrown in, the Nuggets could take someone like David Harrison, Anthony Johnson, or Fred Jones in return.
