Sixers Pitch In


It?s great to see whenever a professional sports team pitches in and helps improving the lives of others. The Philadelphia 76ers organization has recently announced the name of players and coached who will be taking part in this years? 76ers Community Assists program. In addition to members of the Sixers organization, the program also includes ticket holders and the Dodge Corporation.

The players who will be participating in the program are Michael Bradley, Samuel Dalembert, Allen Iverson, Kyle Korver and Chris Webber whom all have donated a block of tickets for distribution to youth groups and non-profit organizations. Groups can request anywhere from 15-30 tickets once a season to enjoy the fun and excitement of 76ers basketball.

About the 76ers Community Assists Program. The program provides tickets to youth groups and non-profit organizations for every Sixers home game at the Wachovia Center. Leading the way in the purchase of tickets for the program are the five Sixers players mentioned above.
