In a ruling hailed by press freedom advocates, the country`s Supreme Court ruled this past Thursday that the editor of a prominent weekly magazine did not defame a powerful businessman, overturned a lower court ruling, and then threw out the editor`s one-year prison sentence.

Hundreds have been arrested since 2002, but President Yudhoyono has warned of more possible attacks. "Terrorist cells are still active. They are still hiding, recruiting, networking, trying to find new funding sources, and even planning," said President Susilo Yudhoyono at a seminar in Jakarta.
