Victoria Principal Divorces after Two Decades of Marriage
In an industry as unstable as the entertainment world, where stars seem to change spouses and partners within a wink, it is always refreshing to note couples who manage to keep their relationships intact, despite the glitz and pomp of Hollywood. Many always felt that the marriage between ?Dallas? star, Victoria Principal and her husband, Harry Glassman would always last. However, the couple?s divorce was finalized on Wednesday after 21 years of marriage.
Victoria Principal played the wife of oil tycoon, Bobby Ewing in the long-running and enormously popular television drama, ?Dallas?. The actress spent nine years on the set and became one of the most recognized television stars of the time. She finally left the show in 1987 and began an independent production company, ?Victoria Principal Productions?. Over the years, Principal began to focus more on beauty and skin care. She wrote three books on diet and exercise and regularly promotes her own line of skin creams and products.
Victoria Principal?s first marriage to Christopher Skinner ended in 1980 and five years later she married Glassman, a plastic surgeon. The couple filed for divorce in May, 2006, citing ?irreconcilable differences? as a reason. They have joint assets and property interests worth over $50-million. Principal continues to live in Beverley Hills, California.
