Britney Spears Bold at Rehab

Former pop-star Britney Spears checked in to rehab at Eric Clapton`s Crossroads facility in Antigua, Friday. Witnesses report that she entered the facility sporting a new hair-style ? boldness. Harvey Levin, who is managing editor of TMZ.com, said that Spears` family, concerned with the starlet`s excessive drug and alcohol use, staged an intervention and made her go to rehab. "Her family and friends staged what I guess you would call an intervention and basically said you have to go," Levin said. "[They] got her to go to a facility there and I am told she was there for a very short period of time and said this is not for me and left."

Meanwhile, an e-mail from Spears` former assistant Felicia Culotta says the 25-year-old pop star needs to get her act together because she`s headed for ``rock bottom.`` ``I cherish ALL the incredible opportunities that came my way thru my job with Britney and am crushed/saddened/heart sick by the way her life is unfolding,`` says the e-mail, posted on a gossip blog on Hollywood.com. Ruben Garay, who runs ThatOtherBlog, said the e-mail had come from Felicia Culotta, who was identified as having worked for Spears for nearly 10 years. Since filing for divorce from Kevin Federline in November, Spears has drawn criticism for her drinking, partying and sloppy appearance.
