Jay-Z is Back

What a relief! And just when everyone thought he was gone for good. Hard to call it a comeback, but for the sake of drama, it has been announced that Jay-Z is returning to music after he retired following his 2003 `The Black Album` album release. The 36 year old rapper and CEO of Def Jam Recordings admits that it is probably the worst retirement in history but looks to explain his move by turning listeners` attention to the title track, which was inspired by a comic in which Superman comes out of retirement to save the world. You get the analogy.

In his spare time, he is the part owner of NBA team New Jersey Nets, who are possibly heading to Brooklyn in 2008. As one of the most powerful people in the music industry he looks to take of his reputation. He has announced that his retirement was supposed to be permanent and was never a stunt to increase sales of his latest album. His new album, titled ` Kingdome Come` is expected to hit stores and file-sharing internet sites this fall.
