Anna Nicole Smith`s son dies

Following the celebration of her newborn child, Anna Nicole Smith suffered a terrible loss. Her 20 year old son, Daniel Smith came to the Bahamas to visit his mother in the maternity ward and shortly after collapsed, reportedly from and massive heart attack. This report has yet to be confirmed, but officials are saying that it is most likely not drug or alcohol related.

The 38 year old Anna Nicole Smith has never been too far from the spotlight. She received much attention when in 1994 she wed oil tycoon J. Marshall Howard, 89. After only 14 months of marriage he passed away, and a legal battle over his estate has been going on ever since. Earlier this year, she won a U.S. Supreme Court decision giving her another chance to collect the large amount of money Marshall left behind.

Although he wasn?t a man with a mega-star status like his mother, Daniel was familiar to television viewers as he made frequent appearances on his Smith`s reality show. He also had small roles in the films `Skyscraper` and `To the Limit`. Daniel was born following Anna Nicole`s marriage to Billy Smith, whom she married in 1985.
