Elizabeth Taylor Denies Rumors of Ninth Marriage

Recently, Hollywood star and entertainment icon Elizabeth Taylor, denied media speculation and reports that she was planning to once again tie the knot ? for her ninth attempt at marriage. Taylor, who is 74-years-old, is being romantically linked with photographer and artist Firooz Zahedi, who became her personal photographer in the mid-1970?s on her film projects. Speculation will most likely continue as long as Taylor is in the company of Zahedi.

?We are not, have never been and will never be romantically involved. My private life and my plans, at this time remain private,? said Taylor in a response to what she called stories which pertained to her future plans and private life. It seems that the entertainment star has been denying many claims put forth by the tabloids and media. In 2004, Taylor was treated for congestive heart failure, and went on US television in May to make light of tabloid claims that she was seriously ill or suffering from Alzheimer?s disease.

The entertainment actress has been married eight times, twice to British actor Richard Burton. Her last marriage, which ended after nearly four years in divorce, was to Larry Fortensky, a building laborer. It will be interesting to see for all Taylor fans and Hollywood lovers alike, whether or not Taylor will give the institution of marriage another try. If she does, it will certainly make news headlines all over the world. Anything is possible when it comes to Elizabeth Taylor.
