Whatever, Nevermind

We have seen a recent 2004 DVD release by Nirvana, but this is a whole different story. Geffen Records will release the Nirvana concert film "Live! Tonight! Sold Out!" on November 7th, 12 years after it was originally issued for VHS viewing. Lead Singer Kurt Cobain conceived the idea, looking for a way to anthologize Nirvana`s quick ascent to rock superstardom, but the project was not completed until after his 1994 suicide.

The new release will include live footage from the "Nevermind" tour, performed by the Seattle rockers and will capture the sound and style that transformed the whole rock `n` roll / alternative scene in the 1990`s. The DVD will feature hits such as "Breed," "Drain You," "Dive" and "Aneurysm", and the rest of the bands highlights- "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "About a Girl," "Love Buzz," "Negative Creep," "Come As You Are," "Territorial Pissings," "Something in the Way," "On a Plain," "Lithium" and "Sliver".

The footage has been color-corrected and digitally remastered, previously unreleased bonus performances will be included but details have yet to be announced.
