Jackson and Rowe Settle

There are still details here and there to be sorted out, but it looks as if Michael Jackson and Deborah Rowe have finally settled there legal differences over custody and visitation rights for their two children, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., known as Prince Michael, and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson. No details have been given to the media regarding if there were, or were not, any monetary agreements involved.

According to court documents, Rowe regretted giving up her parental rights following the charges filed against Jackson in 2003, in which he was accused of child molestation. She filed for temporary custody stating that her concern was that the trial would be too much of a distraction for Jackson, which would result in him not taking care of the children properly.

Rowe has said that the last time she saw the children was in 2005, right before Jackson left the United States shortly after his trial ended in acquittal on all charges. He has been living abroad since then but his lawyers continued to negotiate with Rowe. On Sept. 6 a judge ruled that Jackson must pay Rowe $60,000 in attorney fees from the custody battle.
