Terri Irwin Says Croc Hunter`s Death Won`t Be Aired

Terri Irwin, wife of deceased Australian environmentalist and television personality Steve Irwin, has spoken publicly for the first time since Irwin was killed by a bard from a stingray in an Interview on Australia`s Channel Nine. She spoke regarding the question to discussion whether to broadcast the footage of his death while he filmed a TV show on the Great Barrier Reef. She greatly opposes the broadcast, arguing that it would serve no purpose. She has promised that she would personally see to it that it never got out.

His death prompted an unprecedented outpouring of grief in Australia, including tributes by ordinary Australians outside the Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland, which Irwin ran together with his father. His TV series, in which he interacted with many different species, demonstrated his uncanny way with animals.

Footage on Channel Nine show showed Terry Irwin walking for the first time outside the front of Australia Zoo to look at the mass of flowers, toys and tributes laid out at the front gate by thousands of well-wishers.
