Kramer Makes Rascist Remarks Onstage, Apologizes
Just several months after actor Mel Gibson shocked the world with his violent tirade of anti-semitic remarks, another Hollywood star has made rascist comments. This time, Richard Michaels who played the ?Kramer? in the famous television show, Seinfeld, was filmed making a barrage of rascist remarks to a heckler during a stand-up comedy performance in Los Angeles.
Last Friday, Michaels directed his anger at a member of the audience in Hollywood?s Laugh Factory comedy club, repeatedly yelling, ?He?s a nigger? and other insulting comments. Michaels says that the heckler interrupted his performance and he was driven to anger because of it. Many were so disgusted with Michaels that they got up and left the show and soon footage of the incident was making its way across the internet and causing a furor in the celebrity world.
Meanwhile, Richards has denied that he is a rascist and has publicly apologized for the incident. In a live broadcasting via sattelite on the David Letterman show (arranged by his longtime friend, Jerry Seinfeld), Richards stated that he was ?really busted up about the anger and hate and rage? that he directed at the heckler during his performance. Meanwhile, the Laugh Factory comedy club has made it clear that Kramer is no longer welcome to perform there, after no direct apology to the club was forthcoming.
