Singer Pete Doherty Arrestd Once Again

Pete Doherty, singer in the Babyshambles rock group has been arrested once again ? this time for drug possession and driving his car while under the influence of a toxic substance. The singer was released on bail in England, together with two of his fellow passengers, however they will be charged once the police analyze the substances that were found in the car and determine the severity of the incident.

Pete Doherty, besides his singing career, is also known as the ?sometimes? boyfriend of super-model, Kate Moss. Their on-off relationship is highly publicized, as well as Doherty?s addiction to drugs. The singer has a history of attempting to get help for his drug problems in clinics throughout Europe and the Far East, including the famous Priory clinic in West London. If his latest arrest is anything to go by, however, no treatment seems to be helping the 27-year old.

In early November, Doherty was fined 750 GB Pounds for assaulting a radio reporter outside a courtroom. His latest arrest ? on suspicions of crack possession ? brings up once again the question whether some people are simply not built for the world of fame. So many stars and models find themselves addicted to drugs and alcohol, and struggling with eating disorders, that it seems that pressure of the celebrity world is too much to handle. Pete Doherty is the perfect example.
