George Michael on the Road Again
Being in any kind of business for 25 years is certainly a long time, but when it comes to show business, it is truly an achievement. British singer, George Michael, has enjoyed a splendid ? if not controversial ? career since he was part of the hit duo, Wham! back in the 1980?s. Since then, George Michael has been in the tabloids time and time again in relation to drug offences, sexual solicitations and other misdemeanors. However, nothing he does seems to faze his adoring public.
George Michael has regularly stated that he feels that his singing career is over, however, if recent ticket sales for his latest European tour were anything to go by, nothing could be further from the truth. Tickets for all his shows have sold out within hours. George Michael started a world tour in Barcelona in September and he has no restriction on the length of the tour. For now, he is enjoying the experience and admits that he is sorry that he did not start touring again years ago.
Recently, Michael gave a free show to nurses in honor of the excellent care that they gave his sick mother. Although he is enjoying live entertainment and touring, 42 year-old George Michael feels that the recording part of his career is over and that he doesn?t have the stamina anymore to release CD?s and try to get his music to be heard on the radio.
