Kramer Lashes Out

Michael Richards, the actor formerly known as Kramer, has run into some major trouble following racist remarks aimed at audience members during a stand up comedy show. Apparently, Richards was heckled and his act was disrupted by some audience members, which caused Richards to lose his cool and to lash out at Afro Americans in the audience, calling them the "N" word several times and saying that if it was 50 years ago, the would be lynched.
Richards owned up to this outburst and has begun the obligatory "I`m sorry" tour, which never gives us too much information about the actual sincerity, all while voices around Hollywood are condemning the actor`s actions.
Appearing on the David Letterman Show, Richards had this to say: "I lost my temper on stage? and went into a rage? I work in a very uncontrolled manner onstage. I do a lot of free association, it?s spontaneous, and I go into character. I don?t know, in view of the situation and the act going where it was going, I don?t know, the rage did go all over the place. It want everyone to know? I?m not a racist, that?s what so insane about this, and yet it?s said, it comes through, it fires out of me and even now in the passion that?s here as I confront myself.?
