Naomi Campbell Does It Again

It seems that Naomi Campbell`s troubles with the "help" never seem to end as her 36-year-old Romanian maid, Gaby Gibson filed a lawsuit against her in the State Supreme Court in Manhattan for racist behavior and assault. If found guilty Campbell, who has denied the second degree assault charge, faces seven years in jail and deportation back to the United Kingdom. This lawsuit will join her current legal issues with Ana Scolavino who was allegedly attacked by the supermodel with a Blackberry phone in March last year. In this case a plea deal to a lesser charge is being discussed.

According to Breitbart who is representing Campbell this plea is deal is only intended to avoid a media spectacle and that community service is most likely to be a part of the deal. Breitbat added that this service will not be sweeping the streets as was the case with Boy George but rather something along the lines of a fundraiser or hospital community service.

Gibson has been in Campbell`s employment between November 2005 and January 2006. In her lawsuit she claims that during this time Campbell called her names, made fun of her English skills and even threatened to have her arrested for allegedly stealing a pair of Stella McCartney jeans. In one instance Campbell allegedly said: ?Are all the women in Romania as pathetic as you? Romanians are not usually as dumb as you.?
The lawsuit also claims that the supermodel isn`t taking her violent temper seriously but is rather using it to gain further publicity. Lambros Lambrou, who is representing Gibson in the lawsuit, said that ?It`s quite insulting to our client that she attempts to get notoriety and more fame out of making light of her anger management issues,? obviously referring to Campbell`s designer T-shirt sporting the words "Naomi hit me" on the front and "I love it" on the back.
