Genesis: The Final Tour?
It?s the tour that we haven?t been waiting for, only because we didn?t expect it to ever happen. The popular pre-90`s band Genesis is a member of a small elite of British bands that have not only achieved massive international success but have sustained this over four decades. The news that the band`s most successful line-up of Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford are reforming after a break of 15 years for a European tour, was seized on by both fans and media alike.
Genesis was founded in the mid-1960s by Rutherford, Banks, Anthony Phillips and Peter Gabriel, who left the group in 1975 and was replaced on vocals by drummer Collins. They became one of the biggest bands of the 1970s and ?80s, with hits such as "Turn It on Again," "Follow You, Follow Me," "That`s All" and "Invisible Touch."
The trio will perform material from their classic albums and reconnect with their huge fan-base, who will be given the opportunity to listen to a side of the band that goes beyond their hits, according to Banks.
