Rap Star Turns MTV Awards into a Fiasco

The MTV Music Awards last week turned into an entertainment fiasco when Rap star Kayne West acted like a soar loser and burst into stage in the middle of the ceremony. West won the award for Best Hip Hop artist, but apparently, that wasn`t enough for him. During the Best Video award presentation, West entered the stage and confronted Justice and Simian, who won the award. West said that he was the one that was supposed to win the award and that the whole show lost its credibility.

West had many good reasons for winning the award, as he claimed. The fact that his video "Touch The Sky" cost a million dollars to produce was one of those reasons. West continued and said that Pamela Anderson`s appearance in the video and the fact that he was filmed jumping across canyons should have made the different. As it turned out, the voters thought otherwise.

Other notable winners were Justin Timberlake who won two awards on the same night, taking home the Best Pop and Best Male awards with him. Other lucky winners were the Red Hot Chili Peppers who took the Best Album, one of the most prestigious awards, with them. The Best Alternative award went to Muse, and legendary Depech Mode took the Best Group award. During the award, Sasch Baron Cohen preformed on stage and used his Borat character to entertain the audience.
