Naomi Campbell out on Bail

It was d?j? vu in London last week as Naomi Campbell was arrested once again for charges of assaulting other people. This time, the 36-year-old supermodel was brought down to a London police station and questioned about her involvement in an assault on an anonymous woman in an apartment. Police were tight-lipped about any other details regarding the arrest but did confirm that Campbell had been charged and was out on bail.

A spokesman for Naomi Campbell was quoted as saying that the matter was simply a misunderstanding that would be resolved soon. The model?s press representatives were not answering telephone calls and her defense attorney, David Breitbart, could not confirm the story.
British born Campbell was discovered by the fashion industry at the age of 15 and has since worked with the biggest photographers and clothes designers in the world. She was the first black model to appear on the covers of Time Magazine, as well as French and British Vogue.

This is not the first time that Campbell has had charges brought against her for assault. Earlier this year, she appeared in a New York court charged with throwing a telephone at a maid. Working for Campbell carries serious risks it seems ? in 2003 and 2004 the supermodel was charged with assaulting people who were employed by her. If found guilty of her latest attack, it might be wise for the judge to consider sending Campbell for anger-management treatment.
