Heroin, Blood and the Entertainment World
Who do these entertainment "stars" think they are? Honestly, you would think that national laws would apply to all inhabitants of a country, but for the rich and famous of the entertainment world, this is just not the case. However, sometimes they do have to face consequences, but these are minimal compared to the ones us normal citizens face. In the latest entertainment news, Kate Moss?s junkie on-off boyfriend Pete Doherty has been dropped from his record label. Why you ask? The man squirted blood on two MTV camerman with a syringe, after he used it to inject some heroin into his bloodstream of course!
The disgusting incident, which left the blood splattered crew scared of infection and needing to sterilize expensive equipment, ?was the last straw? for Rough Trade records who severed all ties with the Babyshambles singer. ?Rough Trade couldn?t put up with that sort of behaviour any longer,? a source has revealed. ?There?s only so much they could take?and Pete?s gone way beyond that. Rough Trade backed Pete as much as they could. But whatever their fondness for him as a person, it?s a business as well, and he has become a liability to the entertainment company.?
Last year, Rough Trade?s parent label - Sanctuary Music - was forced to put up ?100,000 to bail him out of jail after Pete was accused of robbery and blackmail. The charges were later dropped. But there is no way to forget about having some very potentially infected blood sprayed on you. And by the way, where were the cops in this situation, do they not realize that heroin is illegal in this country? Come on Pete, can`t you just shoot up in your dressing room like all the other junkies in the entertainment industry?
