Nicole and the DJ are Over
There are some lessons that every girl should learn, whether she is in the entertainment industry or not. The biggest of these lessons is that when you decide to break up with your boyfriend, you should stick to your decision. However, it seems that both normal girls and some of the biggest stars in the entertainment world did not learn this lesson, or at least refuse to follow the simple rule. Getting back together with your ex has disaster written all over it. Clearly the realtionship ended for a reason, don`t you know it will just end again? Nicole Richie, star of the entertainment filled show `The Simple Life`, made this very mistake.
Nicole Richie and on-again-off-again fiance DJ AM have called it quits, again. The second round of togetherness for Nicole and DJ AM lasted all of five months but now it`s officially over. In a statement released Monday by her publicist, Nicole Richie, 24, and Adam Goldstein, 33, who began dating in 2004 and spend most of 2005 engaged and planning an elaborate wedding, have confirmed that their relationship is off. Again. The publicist did not provide any details.
According to People magazine, Nicole threw Adam a surprise 33rd birthday party at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas recently, where she toasted him by saying, "This is (Adam`s) eighth year of sobriety. I`m so proud of you. You`ve come so far and I love you so much." Adding to the mystery of this breakup, her dad, singer Lionel Richie, has been telling reporters this week that Nicole is in fact getting married to DJ AM and that he will sing at the event. Talk about conflicting entertainemnt industry reports! Nicole needs to either get on the phone to her dad - or to her own publicist - and set the record straight.
