Kate Evans Publishes First Poem Book
The award-winning poet, Kate Evans, will publish her first poem book after signing with Q Press. According to the exclusive book deal, Q Press will produce Evans` first collection of poems, Like All We Love. The new book is scheduled for release this June. Poet Ellen Bass describes Evans? book as one that ?tells a love story: the devotion of two women making a life together.?

Kate Evans? poetry, fiction and essays have been widely published. She is the author of a book about lesbian and gay teachers, Negotiating the Self and has recently completed a novel and a collection of stories.
She was a semi-finalist for the Pratt Institute Prize in Poetry, and a finalist in the New Voices Poetry Contest. She has been awarded three Phelan Literary Awards and nominated for two Pushcart Prizes. She teaches at San Jose State University.
